5. Promachoteuthis Sulcus
It’s a squid, with teeth, but not really. It’s one of the more recently discovered deep sea creatures, and was found in the southern part of the Atlantic Ocean, 1750 to 2000 meters under the sea. While squids in general have sharp beaks that they use to eat their prey, this particular squid has its beak deep inside its mouth. And those teeth? They’re actually circular folded lips.
