7. Brookesia Micra Chameleon
This is the smallest known chameleon, the adult of which can grow up to 29 mm. The Brookesia micra chameleon can be found in the islet of Nosy Hara located in Antsiranana in Madagascar. It’s one of the smallest reptiles in the world, in fact it’s so small that it can stand on a head of a match stick. Yeah! It’s that teeny tiny. They usually inhabit leaf litter during the day time, and at night they go up into the branches of trees to sleep in, as high as 10cm.
Wow it’s so small!! It must be extinct but it’s really cute! I want one.
