4. The Elephant And The Sheep
The loss of a parent, especially at a young age when it comes to animals, can leave the baby in a rather fragile state. It was the case for a baby elephant named Themba, whose mother died. The veterinarians at the Shamwari Game Reserve thought that maybe Themba would be able to be adopted by the other elephants to be able to feed, but no luck. While they took Themba in, he was too unhappy to even eat. Worried that he might starve himself to death, they introduced him to a sheep named Albert, who came from a farm nearby. While things were a little unsettling at first, the two of them ended up becoming thick as thieves. Plus, Themba also started eating.
