5. Spuds MacKenzie

The popular mascot for beer brand Budweiser back in the mid-80’s, and was the original party animal, literally. Spuds became a household name, appearing in several print ads and commercials for Budweiser, even through all the controversies that arose until 1992. One such scandal was of the dog’s gender. Spuds was actually a girl dog, named Honey Tree Evil Eye. But it was shortly after Honey Tree’s next controversy that she died of kidney failure.
