Good, you are still here!  That means you are as excited about the binturong as I am OR you are procrastinating from something important! جيدة ، وكنت لا تزال هنا! وهذا يعني انك متحمس حول binturong وأنا أو أنت من المماطلة شيء مهم! Oddly enough the Binturong is also called the Asian Bearcat, although it is neither a bear nor a cat.  Apparently the culture that named this animal “Bearcat” is now extinct, which is sad since we will never know why they received that name.  If I had to guess, I would say it is simply because they have the face of a cat and the body of a small bear but that is just me! ومن الغريب أن Binturong يسمى أيضا Bearcat الآسيوية ، على الرغم من أنها ليست تتحمل ولا قطة. ويبدو أن ثقافة هذا الحيوان المسمى "Bearcat" انقرضت الآن ، وهو حزين لأننا لن نعرف أبدا لماذا وردت بهذا الاسم ، وإذا كان علي أن أخمن ، أود أن أقول أنه لمجرد أن لديهم على وجه القطة وعلى جثة دب صغير ولكن هذا مجرد لي!

So what is so darn interesting about the bearcat? فما هو يا الاهي مشوق حول bearcat؟ These little guys love the trees so their legs have adapted to their living environment.  Climbing down trees can be tricky but the binturong is able to rotate their hind legs so the claws can still grip as they bolt down the tree head first.  Just think, you would never have to call the Fire Department to get this “Cat” out of your tree. هؤلاء الرجال قليل يحب الأشجار حتى تكيفت أرجلهم وبيئتها المعيشية. تسلق الأشجار يمكن أن تكون خادعة ولكن binturong قادر على تدوير سيقانها الخلفية بحيث يمكن قبضة مخالب لا يزال لأنها مربط أسفل شجرة أول رئيس. مجرد التفكير ، ولست مضطرا ابدا الى استدعاء وزارة النار للحصول على هذه "كات" للخروج من شجرة الخاص بك.

Communication plays a very important role in the binturong's life.  They have been known to make a lot of different noises.  Believe it or not, when this bearcat is in a happy and playful mood, they will actually make a chuckling sound! الاتصالات يلعب دورا هاما جدا في حياة binturong ل. كانت معروفة وهي لجعل الكثير من الأصوات المختلفة. صدق أو لا تصدق ، عندما يكون هذا هو bearcat في مزاج سعيدة ومرحة ، فإنها في الواقع جعل صوت القهقهة! They will wave their tail in order to spread their musky scent to the nostrils of other animals in the area.  You have any idea what this might smell like? وسوف موجة الذيل وذلك لكي لا تنتشر رائحة المسك بهم إلى الخياشيم من الحيوانات الأخرى في المنطقة. أن يكون لديك أي فكرة عما يمكن أن رائحة مثل هذا؟ Would you believe me if I told you the binturong actually smells like buttered popcorn!! هل تصدقني لو قلت لك binturong الروائح في الواقع مثل الفشار بالزبد! Their scent glands give off a smell similar to Theatre Style Popcorn.  I wonder if you could get extra butter?  Imagine trying to research these little guys.  I would be so hungry and have such a craving for popcorn! غددها رائحة إعطاء قبالة رائحة مماثلة لنمط المسرح الذرة الصفراء ، وأنا أتساءل عما إذا كان يمكن الحصول على زبدة اضافية؟ تخيل محاولة للبحث هؤلاء الرجال قليل. وأود أن تكون جائعا جدا وتمتلك هذه الرغبة في الفشار!
