Like most animals in the wild, baboons are pretty easy targets for lions in the wild. We could almost expect the poor primate to fall victim to the fangs of the fierce lioness. And as we may have already guessed, the female baboon wasn\u2019t able to put up a fight and was easily overpowered by the lioness. But in a very surprising twist, the lioness did the opposite! She gently stroked the poor fellow with utmost care and compassion. And yes, the baby baboon was saved from imminent danger. And there goes the image of an impending threat! Two male lions arrive at the scene and they have only one thing in mind and that is to have a sumptuous dinner out of the little baboon. In a remarkable twist of event, the lioness transformed into an aggressive creature and chased away the enemies! In the midst of danger, the lioness showcased not only care and compassion but also displayed great empathy and protectiveness like any mother would do for her child.<\/p>\n

Realizing that the little primate will never be safe around her, the lioness finally decided to give her new \u201ccub\u201d back to his own home. The wild is certainly not safe for the little one especially considering the growing threat from other bloodthirsty predators aiming to pierce their fangs into the poor creature. And as the baby baboon\u2019s father grabbed his little one, he gazes down at the predator with genuine gratitude. Although the little primate looked sad leaving the very creature who saved him, we\u2019re pretty sure that he is also happy to be back with his family.<\/p>\n

Father baboon clutched his son tightly as if he is afraid to lose his son again. Needless to say, this photo is just incredibly heart-warming and tear-jerking.
